Reflecting God’s Glory

The window out the back of my RV faced east, and I saw a brilliant sunrise every morning. But one day I happened to look out the other side toward the west just at the right time. A glorious gold light shone from the windows of the apartment house next to the RV Park. There had to be an analogy there.

“The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.” Jesus is the true light and like the sun in my picture which appeared on the horizon with no effort on my part, came to earth according to God’s divine purpose.

“You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” The light shining from the windows in the west mirrored the light of the sun this time with no effort on the part of the windows. The light was a reflection of the true source of light, the sun. We can be like those windows and reflect God’s true light. All we have to do is be willing.

Why not relax and ask the Lord to allow you to be a reflection of Him and His light in your life. I believe that’s a worthy goal.
