RVing

Our next calamity happened in Yuma, Arizona, when we stayed at an RV park during the winter and volunteered to do “work-camping.” We got our site free, but worked 20 hours a week.

Yuma is the number one winter crop growing area in the US. Awesome for vegetable and fruit lovers. However, the flies and gnats will drive residents crazy. In your eyes and ears!

Second problem was my husband’s asthma didn’t care for the area at all and we had to leave early.

But the sunsets were gorgeous.

    1. So true, Marina. I hated to leave when we did because the weather was so pleasant and it was the middle of winter, but Joe’s allergy problems necessitate we move on. Thanks for your comment.
