Traveling in our RV continued to offer adventures galore.
Remember the eclipse last summer? Where were you when the eclipse of the sun occurred?
We were in Shell Wyoming where the sun had 92% coverage. I didn’t know what to expect as it was a sunny day. At the peak of the eclipse, everything around us appeared as if it were sunset. The trees cast long shadows as they do at dusk. Then an hour later, it was a bright, sunny day again. Interesting phenomenon.
At Shell Campground, we set up yard chairs to watch the event.
I was driving between our daughters home in Louisville and Home, near the KY/TN state line. We had about 98% coverage and it was phenomenal! I pulled off 65 to view with others in an abandoned lot on a side road. Great, enthusiastic crowd! Amazing!
That sounds so interesting, Marina. It was quite a phenomenon for many to see. Thank you for your comment.
Love seeing the photos and reading about your experiences.
Thank you, Melissa. I love to share them, now as memories because we just sold our RV. I’d like to get another, but only in God’s timing.
