How Edge Of Truth Came To Be

Romantic suspense is my very favorite genre to read. I love the mix of danger and romance and the thrill of trying to figure things out as the story progresses. Because I love this genre so much, I wanted to write it.

I am traditionally published in contemporary romance and romantic mystery and had pretty much given up on the idea of ever writing romantic suspense since way back when my then agent started shopping Edge Of Truth we never made it past committee—a fancy word for the people who decide which books a publishing house will publish.

Fast forward ten years. It occurred to me a couple of months ago, I don’t need a publisher to publish my passion. I can publish it myself and that is exactly what I’ve done. I feel like my writing career has come full circle.
